Vorig kunstwerk (Sketch of a little boy, Just a little sketch before making the painting commissioned by a lawyer friend of his son...)   Volgend kunstwerk (Son from Ge Nijhuis in 1980, Ge Nijhuis in 1980 already was the owner of one of the largest art galleries of Holland. He saw me sketching and believed there was such a stunning resemblance that he offered me a solo-exposition at once and an invitation for participation in group expositions... He told me he believed in what he just saw! I was puzzled... but happy!)
study of a face, Drawing from study period! 'Academic study' with techniques to reach 'the perfect drawing', which doesn't exist (for me!) I believe art should transmit more than just technique and a nice picture... Technique does help a little, of course!
